Assistant Learning Curator: Community Programmes

 

Tate St Ives, Cornwall
£4,100 per annum (pro rata to a full-time equivalent of £20,500 per annum)
Permanent, part-time, 1 day a week

This post will provide a point of contact between TSI and the immediate Cornwall community and will support the delivery and development of community programmes, including adult informal learning initiatives.

With experience of managing administration and logistics within a community learning, education, art gallery or museum setting, you'll need to demonstrate a commitment to working with a diverse range of people and excellent organisational and communication skills. More...

A member of the Education Department will introduce the current exhibition, 'Newspeak: British Art Now' and the accompanying education programme. Over tea and cake, we will have a chance to catch up on current/future projects and discuss ways to maximise these meetings as CPD sessions. The South East area group has three new reps: Amy Lloyd from Aspex; Helen McAleer from Towner and Natalie Franklin from Ditchling Museum, and one longstanding and highly experienced rep Lynn Weddle, Freelance Practitioner.
