Ninety-eight galleries, museums, other arts venues and schools ran events as
part of Children's Art Day 2007, with over 3000 children, young people and
families taking part.
'It's a great scheme and the children all went home buzzing. Well worth it!'
'We had a really good time and the balloons and stickers were a great bonus. We
will definitely take part again next year.'
'It really helped to run an event which is part of a national programme.'

engage is delighted to be managing Children's Art Day this year with
funding from the Clore
Duffield Foundation.
The day will provide opportunities for thousands of children around the UK to
get involved in art projects and activities organised by galleries, art
centres, museums, schools and other organisations. Some events will be for
specific school classes and other groups from formal or informal learning
settings, but others will be open to members of the public including family
groups.
Children's Art Day is a UK-wide celebration and will receive both local and
national publicity. It was set up as part of the Artworks programme run by the
Clore Duffield Foundation.
