The Creative Conference
Dates: 9/07/09
Times: 9-4pm
An intergenerational 'Creative Conference', that will be devised and led by young people from local schools. The conference will explore the importance of process and experimentation, and will find parallels between the working practices of artists and the forms of creative play that children engage in on a daily basis. The Creative Conference will take place at Islington Town Hall, and will involve local people and Councillors in open ended creative projects. The Creative Conference is part of Cubitt People's Republic: a series of events exploring local democracy, Islington's artistic and political heritage, and the power of creative freedom.
Target audience: Ages: 5-7; 7-11;
