Bursary Places

Axisweb Engage Conference Bursary Place
To celebrate ten years of partnership between Axisweb and Engage, we are delighted to announce a new collaboration, centred on Axisweb’s Social Works? Programme  and the forthcoming Engage Conference. The collaboration will offer Axisweb members the opportunity to apply for a bursary place to attend the Engage Conference in November, whilst next year Engage members will have the chance to apply for a bursary place at the Social Works? Symposium which will take place at Manchester Metropolitan University in April 2019.

Conference Bursary Details
The bursary consists of a place to attend both days of the Engage Conference, A Social Prescription, from Tuesday 13 – Wednesday 14 November 2018 (valued at £165 - £410). Full details of the programme and contributors can be found at https://www.engage.org/asocialprescription.aspx
Priority will be given to Axisweb members with a demonstrable interest in socially engaged practice, who have not received a bursary to attend the Engage Conference before.

How to Apply
To apply for the Axisweb Engage Conference Bursary, please send 150 words about how you would benefit from the opportunity to rebecca@axisweb.org by 3pm on on Tuesday 23 October 2018.

Bursary recipients will be expected to attend the whole Conference and write a short feedback report which will be published on the Engage and Axisweb websites.

Further details on the Social Works? Symposium and the Engage member bursary opportunity will be released shortly.
