Bedford Creative Arts/BCA Gallery


Bedford Creative Arts (BCA) is a charitable organisation that delivers arts outreach projects to individuals and groups who would otherwise experience exclusion form mainstream education services. In addition to this BCA has a professionally run gallery space. BCA Gallery is free admission and shows a changing exhibition programme of photographic, film and new media work. The gallery also delivers artist led and in house education workshops and offers support to professional artists through the residency programme.

Bushey Museum and Art Gallery

We tell the story of Bushey, emphasizing its unique artistic history, including works by members of the Monro Circle which flourished in the early 19th century and a large collection (considered to be of national significance) of works, artefacts and ephemera relating to Sir Hubert von Herkomer RA and his famous School of Art in Bushey. Also well represented are Lucy Kemp-Welch and other artists who, up to the present day, have been drawn to Bushey by its reputation. Bushey's social history is illustrated through historical maps, displays of archaeology from earliest times to the present.
