Design Centre

The Design centre was established five years ago to showcase the best in contemporary international, national and regional design. The galley exists to provide an opportunity for regionally based practitioners, students and the public to be exposed to the latest and best in European creativity and production across the deign field.
The Civic

The Civic was re-opened to the public of Barnsley in March 2009, after being closed for more than 11 years. The new venue is home to The Assembly Room a 336 seat performance space, The Gallery@, The Panorama and a variety of studios and workshop spaces which are home to local creative organisations. The Civic also programmes events in the re landscaped Mandela Gardens.
Baysgarth House Museum

Located in the historic town of Barton upon Humber and set in over 30 acres of grounds, this once ancestral home of the Nelthorpe family is now a museum. Superb Georgian and Victorian period rooms await you. The museum also houses a fine collection of 18th and 19th century English and Oriental pottery and porcelain. Discover Barton's rural crafts with reconstructed stonemason, shoemaker and wheelwrights' workshops. You can also view over 2000 historic photographs of North Lincolnshire form our computerised Image Archive.

Impressions Gallery

The gallery opened in 1972 as one of the first specialist contemporary photography galleries in Europe and is now established as a leading international exhibition space for photography and digital art. The education programme is fully integrated into the temporary exhibition programme.

National Media Museum
