Compton Verney

Compton Verney is an award-winning art gallery situated 9 miles from Stratford upon Avon and Warwick. Housed in a Grade I listed 18th century mansion which was re-modelled by Robert Adam in the 1760s it is home to six permanent collections: Naples 1600-1800, Northern European 1450-1650, British Portraits, Chinese bronzes British Folk Art and the Marx Lambert Collection. There is also a changing programme of exhibitions which has previous included Van Gogh, Peter Greenaway, Luc Tuymans and John Constable. Education projects available relate to the architecture of the building, the collections and the exhibitions and cover key stages 1 to 4. In addition, special projects such as portfolio development days and life drawing are offered to post 16 students.

OOM Gallery
