Artsmark Celebration Week – putting the spotlight on cultural education

From 9 – 13 October, join Artsmark in celebrating the fantastic achievements of schools who are putting arts and culture at the heart of young people’s education.

Artsmark is the creative quality standard for schools and education settings, accredited by Arts Council England. Over 3000 schools are on their Artsmark journey, demonstrating their commitment to inspiring young people through arts, culture and creativity.

Artsmark Celebration Week will shine a light on cultural education and the positive impact a creative education has on children and young people.

Amanda Rigler, Senior Officer for Artsmark at Arts Council England, says: “We’re extremely excited to host the first ever Artsmark Celebration Week. There are so many inspirational stories to be told, from how schools have set up student Arts Councils and long-lasting cultural partnerships; to embedding the arts into whole school planning.

Amanda continues: “So whether you want to find out more about how Artsmark works or share your thoughts on creative learning, join us in putting cultural education centre stage.”
