London Area Group Meeting - Our space: Play as radical practice

London Area Group Meeting

Our space: Play as radical practice
Monday 23 July 2018, 2 - 4.30pm, National Gallery

Engage members and regional colleagues are invited to join London Reps for an Area Group Meeting to explore innovative approaches connecting children and families with the spaces they inhabit.

In this session, inspired by Children’s Art Week, practitioners will share their experiences of responding to architecture and urban environments with early years and family audiences. Try out inventive play techniques and hear about the challenges involved in developing children’s agency and ownership of public space.
Contributors include: James Sale, Co-DB; Zoe Bates, National Gallery; Alex Thorp, Serpentine Galleries; Amelia Martin, Camden Arts Centre.

Area Group Meetings are free of charge to Engage members, and members from any region are invited to attend.
Non-members are welcome to attend one 'taster' meeting for an entrance fee of £5 (non-members who have attended a meeting before please contact Engage)
